Orlando fue atropellado cuando volvía en bicicleta de un baile. El conductor fue condenado a tres años y podría recuperar la libertad en cualquier momento.
En una entrevista con Cadena Melodías, el abogado Héctor Villarino se refirió al trágico caso de Orlando Agüero, un joven que fue atropellado en bicicleta mientras volvía de un baile por la Ruta Provincial N°4.
El conductor del vehículo, Juan Pablo Ortiz, embistió a Orlando a más de 110 km/h desde atrás. Aunque inicialmente se habló de homicidio agravado, el proceso derivó en un juicio abreviado con pena de tres años de prisión efectiva, lo que permite que recupere la libertad tras ocho meses, por la figura de libertad condicional.
“La víctima no tiene defensor gratuito, pero el imputado sí”, cuestionó Villarino. “Se firmó un juicio abreviado sin que la familia tuviera voz real en la decisión”.
El letrado presentó la inconstitucionalidad del artículo 415 del Código Procesal Penal que permite este tipo de acuerdos sin intervención de la querella, basándose en el derecho de la víctima.
