El gobernador Martín Llaryora dejó inaugurado en General Levalle el parque eólico de YPF Luz. Se trata de los aerogeneradores más grandes de Argentina.
La inversión de la empresa fue de 260 millones de dólares.
Se espera que luego visite La Cautiva y San Basilio y, por la tarde, arribe a Río Cuarto, donde recorrerá obras y entregará créditos.
Córdoba ratifica el liderazgo en materia de energías renovables
Con la inauguración del Parque Eólico de General Levalle, la provincia de Córdoba es protagonista de un nuevo hito en materia de energías renovables.
El gobernador Martín Llaryora acompañó al CEO de YPF Luz, Martin Mandarano, en el acto de inauguración formal llevado a cabo este miércoles en la localidad del departamento Presidente Roque Sáenz Peña.
En la oportunidad, el gobernador instó a que “Córdoba sea la meca de la energía renovable” y sostuvo que “Córdoba es un compañero ideal, porque tenemos toda la infraestructura necesaria. Tenemos 5.200 kilómetros para transportar energía y somos una de las provincias que más gasoductos tiene. Cuando YPF piense en paneles solares o en biomasa con YPF agro, piense en Córdoba como un socio estratégico. YPF tiene que encontrar en Córdoba el socio ideal”.
Seguidamente, Llaryora valoró que “los cordobeses tenemos el aerogenerador más grande de Argentina y producimos desde aquí energía para casi 200.000 hogares. Eso nos llena de orgullo” .
El mandatario también destacó la importancia de YPF como “promotor del desarrollo y la prosperidad”, además de las posibilidades y potencia que “Argentina tiene para ser grande”.
Desarrollado y ejecutado por YPF Luz con una inversión de U$S 260 millones, el parque posee 25 aerogeneradores, cada uno con una potencia de 6,2 MW, 395 toneladas de peso y una altura total de 204 metros, equivalente a tres obeliscos.
La capacidad instalada es de 155 MW, equivalente al consumo de más de 190.000 hogares.
Esto permitirá abastecer a General Levalle y desde allí proveer de energía rentable, eficiente y sustentable a industrias y grandes usuarios de energía eléctrica.
Además, el parque eólico generará un ahorro de emisiones de carbono de 350.000 tn. CO2 equivalentes al año, respecto de una central termoeléctrica equivalente.
Al respecto, Mandarano sostuvo que “el objetivo principal de esta iniciativa es generar energía eficiente y sustentable para que las industrias cordobesas puedan crecer y que a su vez generen más trabajo. Son molinos de última tecnología. La instalación de estos equipos ha implicado un esfuerzo en conjunto, por eso estamos muy orgullosos de esta inauguración».
Por su parte, la intendenta de General Levalle, Laura Rodríguez Paredes, aseguró que “este parque eólico nos permite transformar las fuerzas de la naturaleza en fuentes de energía limpia y renovable, va a mejorar el futuro de nuestra región. Por eso mismo nos llena de orgullo y optimismo formar parte de este sueño».
Estuvieron presentes, además, los ministros de Gobierno, Manuel Calvo; de Bioagroindustria, Sergio Busso; de Desarrollo Social y Promoción del Empleo, Laura Jure; y el presidente de EPEC, Claudio Puértolas.
