La intendenta de Melo, Carolina Ayraudo, encabezó una reunión informativa con los vecinos beneficiados por la cuarta etapa de la red domiciliaria de gas natural, que comenzará a ejecutarse en las próximas semanas. Se trata de una obra clave que incorporará 1.735 metros lineales al trazado ya existente, con un impacto directo en numerosos barrios de la localidad.
“Esta es la etapa que más frentistas beneficiará, porque abarca zonas densamente habitadas. Es una obra muy anhelada y realmente mejora la calidad de vida”, expresó la intendenta durante el encuentro.
Obra financiada con fondos provinciales
La obra se realiza con financiamiento del Gobierno de la Provincia de Córdoba, bajo la modalidad de préstamo. Una vez ejecutada, el municipio deberá reintegrar esos fondos. Por tratarse de una obra de contribución por mejoras, cada frentista abonará el monto correspondiente según los metros lineales de su propiedad.
“Explicamos a los vecinos que el pago es necesario para poder continuar presentando nuevas etapas. De ese compromiso depende que otros sectores también puedan acceder al servicio”, sostuvo Ayraudo.
Facilidades y opciones de pago
Desde el municipio se ofrecerán facilidades para que los vecinos puedan afrontar el pago de la obra. Además, quienes abonen al contado tendrán un descuento especial.
Para la obra interna en los hogares, Ayraudo confirmó que se encuentra vigente el programa «Dale Gas» del Banco de Córdoba, que otorga créditos accesibles para financiar estas instalaciones. También existen facilidades a través de la tarjeta Cordobesa para la compra de materiales.
La red crece y se proyecta la quinta etapa
Con esta nueva extensión, Melo pasará de 5.000 a más de 6.700 metros lineales de red. Aunque todavía resta una parte del trazado por ejecutar, la intendenta ya adelantó que el municipio comenzará a trabajar en la quinta etapa, con el objetivo de completar la cobertura total en futuras gestiones.
“Hubo un récord de conexiones en el último año. El vecino que accede al servicio lo recomienda, y eso genera un efecto contagio que nos impulsa a seguir”, destacó Ayraudo.
Por el momento, la empresa adjudicataria está a la espera de la autorización final de ECOGAS para comenzar los trabajos. Una vez iniciada, la ejecución completa de esta etapa se prevé en aproximadamente un mes.
Mientras tanto, el municipio coordina para que las obras de gas, cloacas y adoquinado no se superpongan en las mismas zonas, garantizando así una ejecución ordenada y sin sobrecargas para los frentistas.
